About Lemon Tuesday
Founded in 2004 by Lisa Roberts, Lemon Tuesday are an all female singing group based in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.
Originally set up to teach singing to a group of keen mums from St Mary’s Primary School, the choir have gone from strength to strength growing in number each year and developing technique and performance skills whilst having great fun singing! The ethos of the group has always focussed on inclusion and support, so no auditions and plenty of encouragement.
Lemon Tuesday sing for charitable events, concerts and festivals and support Watford Peace Hospice and Michael Sobell House Hospice in particular. They perform annually at the Ealing Sangerstevne –
an international Choir Festival.
Martin Smith, their resident Musical Director has shaped
the choir into a dynamic group singing a wide range of
music with accompaniment or a cappella.
His approach is based on the fun of singing and
the enjoyment of the group activity.
